My first-ever creation, made with black and white original imprints of fashion journals "Les Modes Parisiennes" October 1st, 1882 and "La Saison" July 1st, 1886
Inside lid is covered with swansdown and period tulle (to pick needles for example)
The large and flat size is convenient for a sewing or embroidery case: perfect to put in reels and skeins of thread and find the looked-for-one easily
Characters are handpainted with gouache
